How to respond to Transfer Requests
Based on the information provided in the request, you should be able to make a determination as to whether to Accept or Reject the request.
The request will include the options that are available to you.
Accepting requests
Section titled “Accepting requests”If you intended to fufill the request, you should choose an appropriate mechanism to provide the imaging from the options available on the “Action” tab.
Direct upload
Section titled “Direct upload”All transfer requests include a direct upload option. This is a simple, web-based uploader. Simply drop the file directly onto the uploader and wait for it to complete.

Share an existing patient
Section titled “Share an existing patient”If you have an Aurabox account linked to the email you receieve request at, you can share an exising patient with the requester. This will generate a Share as part of completing the request. Contact us if you need to link an account.
Bounce
Section titled “Bounce”Aurabox Bounce is a small DICOM proxy service that runs inside your firewall and forwards DICOM C-STORE requests to Aurabox via https. This allows you to send DICOM to Aurabox without having to open new firewall ports or implement a VPN.

Send a link
Section titled “Send a link”If your system ONLY supports sharing via links, you can forward these to Aurabox for processing.
Delegate to Aurabox
Section titled “Delegate to Aurabox”Aurabox staff can search and retrieve imaging within your web-based or InteleViewer system. and upload to Aurabox in response to imaging requests.
Forward directly to hospital
Section titled “Forward directly to hospital”Some hospitals may allow direct PACS forwarding, where a relationship exists.
Note this is available only at the discretion of the requester, where they have a PACS AND are using that PACS for review.
