Using the uploader
Using the uploader
You can drop entire CD or USB images onto the dropzone, and the uploader will filter out invalid files, and prepare your imaging for upload
The uploader will automatically detect the number of Studies and Series being uploaded, as well as the patient names in those Studies. If you have accidentally added Studies for other patients, you can omit them from the upload at this point.
The uploader will compress the imaging into a compact format for transfer, and upload it to Aurabox via our high-speed upload network. The amount of time this will take depends on the size of the upload and your upload speed. Do not close the tab or navigate away while this is happening.
Once the upload is successful, it is not necessary to do anything else to complete the process, which will happen automatically in the background, however you may wish to add a report.
Add the report
Medical imaging is frequently accompanied by a report from a radiologist. Any reports we detected in your upload are already listed, however frequently the report is in a text or PDF format, and those can be added here.
If you’ve added more than one Study, you can select which study each report is for, when adding.
Next steps
Once the upload has run succesfully, the Aurabox platform will take care of processing the imaging, however there can be a delay while the imaging is transferred to our DICOM store. The current status of the upload can be found by visiting the record for the newly added imaging.
