Aurabox for Patients
An Aurabox profile allows you to share your medical imaging securely with those taking care of you.
Why does my doctor use Aurabox?
Medical images are scattered across a huge number of systems, formats and sources. Doctors cannot easily access patient imaging from a single source.
Aurabox brings doctors, patients and their imaging together in a way not possible with other platforms.
Aurabox allows your doctor to view your imaging from different imaging practices in one place, which helps them accurately assess your symptoms and monitor your progress.
Your Aurabox profile travels with you. Share it with different (and multiple) doctors as the care you need changes. You are always in control of who can see your data.
Emma’s story
Emma feels a lump in her breast. Her GP refers her to Imaging Practice A for a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy.
The biopsy confirms that she has breast cancer, so she attends Imaging Practice B for an MRI scan.
The MRI scan shows that the cancer has spread into the lymph nodes in her armpit and she attends Imaging Practice C for a PET CT scan.
Emma’s medical imaging is scattered across three imaging practices and her treating doctors are unable to access the complete imaging history in one place, leading to delays, potential repeat imaging, or worse.
Emma’s doctor asks her to use Aurabox, and Emma and her doctor ensure that all her imaging history is stored on the platform, in Emma’s account. Now Emma, her doctor, and any other doctor Emma needs, all have access to Emma’s complete imaging history, whenever it is required.
